Celebrating International Women’s Day…Take action and Press for Progress

By March 8, 2018News & Views

Thursday 8th March is International Women’s Day, however, a 2017 Gender Gap Report by the World Economic Forum, states that the gender gap has widened. It raises questions to how this shift could occur, after a decade of global disparities narrowing.

Our CREW motto is ‘Every child has a role to play’, and we visit many schools, regularly witnessing inclusive opportunities for everyone being applied to children’s daily lives. So, it begs the question, at what point are seeds sown into the psyche of our human development to allow inequality to still exist, when children are collectively experiencing positive messages throughout their primary school years? How can we harness the amazing work our teachers, schools and home educators do, and continue to empower children through adolescence and into adulthood?

Celebrating International Women’s Day is one way we can keep moving forward and promoting healthy attitudes.
