KS1 and KS2

Materials: The Material Madness Game Show!

Get to the very atom of the matter in this interactive materials workshop! Material madness covers large amounts of both the KS1 and KS2 National Science curriculum, giving children hands on opportunities to examine all different types of materials and understand their characteristics and origin. Here are just a few of the many aspects of materials they will get to explore:

  • Identifying, sorting and grouping a wide range of different materials
  • Examining the difference between reversible and irreversible materials, right down to their molecular structure
  • Experimenting with the changing shapes of solid objects as they squash, bend, twist and stretch

All of this and more brought to your school in a racy, relevant, run-around workshop, using plenty of props and costumes and delivered by our science specialists.
