CREW have a history of working with Museums, Science centres and corporate clients in order to develop their teams and enable them to deliver effective presentations.

These courses are very client specific and address the particular needs of each institution. Some examples of types of training projects are highlighted below:

Museum/ Science Centre Staff Training.

1) Presentation Skills Training Course.

Day 1: Goal targeting, and theoretical session breakdown.

Day 2: Presentation Skills Development. (Part 1)

Day 3: Presentation Skills Development (Part 2)

This is a very intensive three day training course that enables the trainees to understand that effective presentation skills can be gained by the careful analysis and application of various presentation techniques, adapted to suit their own strengths and weaknesses. In addition to which the course guides them through a theoretical breakdown of the essential elements of effective presentations and show design.

All of the above are an essential grounding for any team that are going to be responsible for producing and presenting shows.

2) Specific Workshop Training Courses.

These courses take place in conjunction with the above programme and are designed to take a team to the level where they can start to create their own workshops through the effective application of the presentation techniques to the chosen subject matter of your institution.

CREW© Corporate Training programmes within Your Institution.

CREW© work in conjunction with museums to create a desirable range of corporate days, which Corporate Partners could enjoy in the VIP surroundings of the museum whilst developing the confidence and skills of their employees.

To this end we offer 3 types of experience.

1) Museum Madness (1 day course):
A VIP look behind the scenes of the working museum, where the trainees are split into teams, introduced to the Museum world and set ‘Information Presentation’ challenges throughout the day with the eventual target of creating a performance for the judges.

Overview: A fun day out in a strange environment, designed to promote self-confidence and team building.

2) Curatorial Confidence (2 day course):
A VIP look behind the scenes of the working museum combined with an intensive presentation skills course designed to challenge the trainees issues of self confidence and develop specific techniques that will help them when presenting information to others, culminating with teams creating a performance for the judges.

3) Primal Presentations (3-day course):

A VIP look behind the scenes of the working museum combined with an intensive presentation skills course designed to challenge the trainees issues of self confidence and develop specific techniques that will help them when presenting information to others, culminating with teams creating a performance for the judges.

Combined with the application of these techniques to their world of business, where the employer sets both teams the task of presenting a brief/ bid/ sales/ pitch that they must design and present utilising skills developed, during their course, to their employer.
